Iranian traditional ritual No-Ousti in Ardebil Province is one of the oldest customs in which people tell their dreams to water as the symbol of purity.

The ritual, mostly done by women in Ardebil, entails sweeping water, cutting it with scissors and telling dreams to the running water.
